Gmail now selling email labels to companies?
[simage=117,288,n,left]I got a typical Buy.com sale email today in my Gmail inbox, but I noticed it had a small, ‘Buy’ logo/label where I could normally tag it. Seems like Google has decided to make some money by letting vendors tag their sales pitches for greater visibility. Hey, if eBay is doing it, it was only a matter of time. And in case you had forgotten that, as a Gmail user, you are Google’s totally defenseless, content-receiving media whore, here’s a reminder. I’m still keeping my account, though.
